Barberton Veterinary Clinic

The Barberton Veterinary Clinic is a full service companion pet veterinary clinic. It was established in 1956 as a practice offering premier veterinary care for our clients' pets and continues that role today. We are an American Animal Hospital Association certified hospital which signifies the successful attainment of high standards of veterinary excellence.

We stress a long life of good pet health through preventative care and wellness exams. If needed, however, we employ the full range of progressive diagnostics to help treat your pet.

Just because they may not show it, dosen't mean they don't suffer. WE TAKE PAIN SERIOUSLY! Our doctors and staff firmly believe that no animal should have to live in pain. Whether post-operative pain, injury, or chronic arthritis, your pet deserves to be as pain-free as possible. Our staff will develop the best possible pain relief plan for your pet and its individual situation. We utilize an arry of medication types and strengths to give your pet (and you) the comfort they need and deserve.

Along with our medical expertise we feel a major asset of the
Barberton Veterinary Clinic is our experienced caring staff.

We are truly "Pet People" who share your desire for the best pet care available.

Bird and Exotic Specialty Hospital

The Bird and Exotic Specialty Hospital is the area's only full
service veterinary clinic dedicated to the needs of your avian and exotic pets. With a board certified avian specialist and over 30 years of combined bird, zoo, reptile and exotic experience by our veterinary staff, we can address any facet of your exotic pet needs.

Whether its routine exams and health screens or treatment of a serious illness, we have the staff, experience, equipment, and hospitalization needs to offer maximum care for your exotic pet. Radiographs, blood screens, untrasound, and endoscopy are just some of the services available for your pet's diagnostic needs. If hospitalization is required, we utilize incubators with individually controlled and monitored temperature and humidity to tailor to your pet's specific requirements. If surgery is the needed treatment course, we have years of experience and the specialized equipment required to operate successfully on even the smallest exotic pet. Hysterectomies on parakeets, C-sections in iguanas, adrenal gland tumor removal in ferrets, and tumor excisions on fish are just a few examples of procedures commonly performed in our hospital. Prevention is our goal, but we're prepared for any needs your pet may have.

Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital

Should your pet need hospitalization, major surgery, or emergency treatment, we have you covered.

To enhance our care of our clients' pets, we utilize a secondary facility located 12 miles north in Copley, Ohio.

Metro is our "Main Hospital". It is a 24 hour 365 day a year emergency, critical care, and hospitalization facility offering a full range of veterinary care under our supervision. In addition to our round-the-clock technical staff, Metro
utilizes 24 hour veterinary staffing and in-house specialists (internal medicine, surgery and radiology) should they be required.

Utilizing Metro gives your pets the intensive round-the-clock nursing and veterinary care they need when they need it most.
