We are a full service mouse vet clinic providing care, diagnosis, and treatment. Mice are social and interactive pets that are entertaining to watch. They are ideal small pets to have with minimal special care requirements. Unfortunately, mice can hide signs of illness, and maybe seriously sick by the time it becomes noticeable. We can help you detect early signs of problems in your mouse.

Signs of illness in pet mice include:

  • Reluctance to move
  • Unkempt hair coat
  • Frequent scratching
  • Tucked up tummy & hunched posture
  • Weight loss
  • Raspy breathing & sneezing
  • Crusty or runny nose
  • Diarrhea
  • Skin discoloration
  • Grinding of teeth
  • Lumps or bumps on skin
  • Squinting or dull looking eyes
We are experienced with treating mice and are familiar with their specific needs. In order to keep your pet mouse healthy and playful, we recommend the following:

Mouse Wellness Exams

As part of your pets wellness examination, we’ll consult with you about your concerns and discuss specific needs of your mouse such as diet. We will visually examine teeth, ears, eyes, mouth, and skin for signs of illness. If we find anything abnormal, we may do testing to diagnose possible illness.

Mouse Parasite Control

Mice can get internal and external parasites that cause discomfort and can be fatal if not treated. If you have mice caged together, the parasites can infect the entire group. We offer parasite control medication for mice to keep them comfortable and pest free.

Mouse Diagnostic, Therapeutic, and Surgical Procedures

Our goal is to keep your pet mouse healthy and prevent illness. If your pet is injured or ill, rest assured that we have the tools necessary to diagnose the problem and offer state-of-the-art treatment. From blood testing and radiographs to ultrasound and endoscopy, we have the means to track down your pets’ problems. Once the problem is uncovered we have the expertise, equipment, and the years of experience needed to provide the therapy or surgical procedures required to help our patients.
